Thankful Thursday

I figure I need to start blogging more, and I'll start by doing a Things I'm Thankful For Thursdays post.

I'm thankful to have been blessed this time around with this pregnancy. A good, strong heartbeat, and baby doing well. I'm also thankful to have such a wonderful family, and son, no matter how much he drives me bananas!

Wonderful Wednesday

It's been a rough couple of days. My husband left for Afghanistan Sunday afternoon. Me, of course, being pregnant... I'm a wreck. Braden knows something is "off". Daddy isn't here and we're talking to him on the computer yet again. We spent as much time together as we could before he left. I haven't been the best blogger because of that, but life comes first.

I'm trying to keep busy, having a two year old will do that to ya! 

On Monday, I had my very first ultrasound with baby # 2 and all is well! The heart was just a beating away at 140 bpm. I was worried something might be wrong since I miscarried in May, but right now, things are going great. Braden is excited to be a big brother, but I don't think he fully grasps the concept of another baby being here just yet. He does point to my stomach and say baby and starts talking to it. Very cute.
