Banana Cream Bread

I've never made my own loaf of bread before, so I thought I'd like to try my hand at it. I think my first try turned out really well. It went off a old recipe my grandma had before she passed away but I added a little twist to it. Ala banana cream bread! Looks rough, but it IS my first time making bread.



Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 baking powder
1/2 tsp salt


3 eggs
3/4 butter
1 1/2 c cream cheese
3 - 4 mashed bananas

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degree.

  • Put together the flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and salt together and mix. Set aside.

  • Put the eggs, cream cheese, butter, and bananas together and mix. Add to the dry ingredients bowl and mix. It should thicken. 

  • Pour into the loaf pan and add to the oven.

  • Bake 30 - 40 minutes or until done. (Whichever you prefer!)

    1. It really is. :) The cream cheese keeps it moist. I was afraid if I didn't add something, it might be dry.
